CUTHY!!!!!!

It just had to be said. Perhaps not the wittiest of war cries of his followers, but an old favorite never the less.

St Cuthbert of the cudgel is Lawful Good, although he has Lawful Neutral followers as well. Combine this with a general lack of stuffines and you have a popular choice of deity for both Paladins and Clerics alike. (The most popular Lawful Good alternative for humans is Pelor, who is really just a trumped up sun god at the end of the day, and no where near as practical a deity for adventurous folks.) The non-human races also have their Lawful Good deities, with their own non-human followers.

St Cuthbert is a god of Righteous Vengeance. He has the cudgel for a reason - to smite those who break the law.

There are various rumored sightings of St Cuthbert by mortals, and the faithful can probably tell you more than you want to know about them. They are also liable to go on at length about how terrible Iuz is - the petty rivalry between the deities does occasionally overflow to their followers.
