Guidelines for deailing with dead (or fallen) party members

1 During Combat
1.1 When a party member falls and is bleeding then bandaging them
is a higher priority than attacking until they are bangaged
1.2 Healing can generally wait until after combat when it can be
directed to those most in need
1.3 The exception to 1.2 is healing that will keep a party member
alive long enough to help win the fight
1.4 Where a character dies during combat the first priority must be
the safety of living characters - keep fighting if safe to do so
1.5 Dead characters should be carried during a retreat only if safe
to do so - leave them and run to save yourself
1.6 Fallen but still living characters should be carried during a
    retreat wherever possible

2. Outside Combat
2.1 Dead or fallen characters should never be left in a dungeoun
unless their body is not recoverable
2.2 Fallen characters should never be left unguarded where wandering
    monsters may find them
2.3 Dead characters may be left in a safe place (eg rocky cairn, locked
room) while the party clears the rest of a dungeon
2.4 No member of the party may continue exploring until 2.2 and 2.3 are
    resolved
2.4 Where dead or fallen characters are at risk, or the remaining party
is too small, then return to town. (As a guide, now fewer than 4
party members should be included when exploring new territory, and
no fewer than 2 guards should be left with a fallen party member)
